An EMI Records Nashville Release; ℗ 2020 UMG Recordings, Inc.
I’m a 65 yr old guy, and I don’t write album reviews...but! I loved Port St Joe, and every song in Skeletons is awesome too! This is an excellent follow-up, the songs feel so real to me. I find myself listening to it all the time, the music and the lyrics definitely show the talent this band brings to the game.
Let’s be honest: 2020 has really crappy music...but these guys let my ears breathe again. Not one skippable song on this album. It’s nice to listen to on the road or on a bike ride or really anywhere you stay or go..and it’s definitely worth every penny! I didn’t know who these guys were until I saw that this album was on pre order. So glad that I preordered it. Amazing stuff 👍🏾 some may think that this isn’t country...but it technically is. It’s country with a little mix of some other genre, but that doesn’t make it not country as per home free is a country vocal band and they aren’t less country just because they use vocals rather than physical instruments, but I digress. This album once again is worth the price!
I found out about these guys while on a line for concert tickets to Dark Star Orchestra. Thinking everyone else in line was there for the same show, I later learned most were there for Brothers Osborne tickets. Naturally, I had to check them out. I played this album on Alexa and then bought it. You know it's a good one when you don't have to skip a single track. More like this one, Brothers Osborne. -From an avid Dead fan.
